O-Acting Styles-Zoom
with Irene Dennis
March 9th, 2021
Most of the acting performances we see are meant to be realistic, but that is only the tip of the theatrical iceberg! In this course, we will explore a variety of acting styles as we prepare monologues and scenes from various genres of plays, including realism, absurdism, and classical/verse drama (yes, we'll tackle Shakespeare!), to name just a few. Each student who completes the class will leave with a selection of prepared monologues, both classical and contemporary, to use for auditions.
Open to students who have previously taken Acting for All and/or Intermediate Acting or their equivalents, or who have prior on-stage experience. Limit: 10.
