This class will focus on improving bone density and muscle strength in a safe way, using small hand and ankle weights in both seated and standing positions (though participants may remain seated throughout if desired). The exercises are slow and controlled, for optimal benefit and safety. Strong Bones is perfect for anyone with osteopenia, osteoporosis, arthritis, weakness and/or balance issues. This class is open to all ages and abilities.
